Yale Graduate School Programs May Offer 80% Higher Likelihood of Becoming a Unicorn Founder

If you're a Yale University graduate student or alumni considering launching a new venture, consider this: you may have an 80% higher likelihood of being a unicorn founder.

Yale's graduate programs were found to be the most likely to “produce” a unicorn founder. Analysis done by Professor Ilya Strebulaev with support from Stanford University Graduate School of Business Venture Capital Initiative found that Yale's graduate programs have an odds ratio of 1.8 (meaning an 80% higher likelihood than average of producing a unicorn founder, based on a comparison of unicorns to a randomly selected sample of VC-backed companies).
