Jennifer Levin Carter is a Partner of Sandbox Clinical Ventures and the Blue Venture Funds. She currently serves on the board of directors of CareMax, Inc. (NASDAQ: CMAX), Oncocyte (NYSE: OCX), HouseWorks, XSphera Biosciences, eCaring, Vivan Therapeutics and is a strategic advisor to other private precision medicine and life science companies. 

Prior to Sandbox, Dr. Carter served as a Managing Director of JLC Precision Health Strategies, LLC and in 2018, she founded and was CEO of TrialzOWN, Inc. until its prelaunch acquisition in 2019 by the Flagship Pioneering company, Integral Health, (now Valo Health).

Prior to TrialzOWN, she was the Founder and President of N-of-One, Inc, serving as CEO from 2008-2012 and Chief Medical Officer from 2012 until its acquisition by Qiagen in 2019.

Dr. Carter holds a BS in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University, an MD from Harvard Medical School, an MPH from Harvard School of Public Health, and an MBA from the Sloan School at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
